Our house was full of Phoebe's friends today as we threw her a Fairy Realm-themed birthday party.
Loosely following the storyline in the Fairy Realm book series, each of the guests had to steal an enchanted bracelet from the evil Valda, thus enabling them to find magical wish stones, paint butterflies, transport griffin eggs on a spoon, play pin-the-horn-on-the-Unicorn, and eat bubble-gum flavored ice-cream cake.
Various and sundry gifts were given and received, including roller skates, several dolls, new pajamas, a Webkinz pet, and a bunch of other stuff that I didn't really pay attention to, as it was mostly pink and frilly and princess and/or fairy-oriented. Pictured to the left: a dress-up princess gown which Phoebe changed into almost immediately after unwrapping and wore for the rest of the day.
Special thanks goes out to Aunt Melissa for the outstanding homemade birthday card featuring this (somewhat terrifying) photoshopped image of Phoebe as a Disney Princess.

"Terrifying"?
Maybe “moderately horrifying” is more accurate.
If you really want to make me cringe, you could create a Flash animation of the Princess-Phoebe-borg singing a Disney tune.
On second thought, please don’t do this.
Seriously, though, great job on the wonderfully terrifying/horrifying pic.

This is Zach's anonymous lawyer contacting you to address the important issue of child favoritism, or in the case of Zach - child -unfavoritism. It has not gone unnoticed by Zach's biggest fans that his label count is less than half of both Ben and Phoebe. Please rectify the situation immediately, or...
else...

Anonymous Esq,
Thank you for your recent letter making us aware of Zach's low label count relative to that of his younger brother and sister. We will indeed take steps to correct this in the near future.
In our defense, however, Houserspawn(tm) would like to make note of the following:
1) Zach does appear in virtually all of the posts that are not specific to only one of the Houserspawn(tm) prototypes.
2) Phoebe and Ben recently celebrated birthdays, providing additional occasions for posts relating to the younger Spawnlets.
3) As a full time 2nd-grader, Zach is not home as much as Phoebe and Ben, who only attend school for a half-day. This means that he spends less time in the presence of the official Houserspawn(tm) photographers and staff writers. Our efforts to observe Zach during the school day by peering through the windows of his elementary school have not met with approval from school officials.
Thank you for reading the Houserspawn blog, and rest assured that more posts featuring Zachary will appear in the very near future.
Sincerely,
The Houserspawn(tm) Team
